WeChat overview

WeChat is one of Kura-chan’s AI Chat channels (Beta). It connects to the same Kura-chan agent as LINE, so once linked you can hand questions, photos, files, reminders, and to-dos straight to Kura-chan — just like on LINE.

How is it different from LINE?

WeChat connects as an iLink bot, and its chat features are essentially the same as LINE’s. The main difference is that WeChat has no slash commands or bottom menu like LINE — you just use natural-language chat. Linking also requires a WeChat account that meets the conditions in Before you begin.

What you can do in WeChat

Send images

Send photos of receipts, business cards, paper notices, or anything else, and Kura-chan reads the content.

Search in natural language

Just ask “find my Kyoto photos”, “what were last week’s receipts”, or “any mail from Amazon”.

Create reminders

Say “remind me about the meeting at 9am tomorrow” and Kura-chan turns it into a reminder or calendar event.

Send files

Send documents, audio, or video for Kura-chan to read, organize, transcribe, or save to Memory Kura.

Setup entry points

Before you begin Check your WeChat account (mainland China +86, version newer than 8.0.70) and that Kura-chan is running.

Connect WeChat Scan a QR code under AI Chat in the Dashboard to link WeChat.

Chat with Kura-chan Receipts and cards, photo search, mail, reminders and calendar, files and Memory Kura, and more.
