Before you begin

Connecting WeChat has extra account requirements. Before you start, make sure the following are all met.

What you need

1. A WeChat account signed in with a mainland China number (+86)

   Only WeChat signed in with a mainland China phone number can currently be linked to Kura-chan.

2. WeChat version newer than 8.0.70

   Update WeChat to the latest version on your phone first. An older version can cause scanning or sign-in confirmation to fail.

3. Kura-chan is running

   The Dashboard opens and you can reach Settings → AI Chat.

4. A few test items ready

   Have a receipt, a business card, and a photo on hand to verify recognition and search after connecting.

Once ready, continue to Connect WeChat.
