Dashboard: Receipts

Receipts turns receipts in your photos into structured records. Kura-chan automatically finds receipt photos in your library, and once you recognize them here, each becomes a filterable, exportable receipt.

Recognize receipts

1. Click the sections menu in the top-left corner, choose Memory Kura, and open Receipts.

2. Click Add in the top-right (the button shows how many are waiting) to open the Scan new page. When the list is empty, a Scan receipt photos button with the same effect also appears in the middle of the page.

   

3. Click Select (or Select all) and pick the photos to recognize. If a photo isn’t actually a receipt, select it and click Not a receipt to remove it from the list; the original photo stays in your library.

4. Click Scan. Recognition runs in the background, and the page notes that new receipts will appear here when done.

5. Once finished, each photo becomes a receipt record in the list.

   

Review and organize

• Each record has fields like Date, Vendor, Amount, Category, and Notes; open one to see the original image and edit the fields.
• Use Filter to narrow by Category and other criteria, and Reset to clear.
• Use Export to export receipts.
• Receipts that look like duplicates are marked with a Possible duplicate badge.
