Using Kura-chan is not about memorizing commands. You hand over the information already scattered across photos, mail, files, calendars, and chats, and it does the sorting. Every workflow below has the same shape.

Business cards

Save a card from a photo

Photograph a business card and send it. Kura-chan reads it and stores a searchable contact record.

Send several at once

Send a handful of cards together and say “save all of these.” Kura-chan processes them one by one and returns a table of who works where and in what role.

It always confirms first

If you send only a photo with no message, Kura-chan will not file it silently — it asks whether to extract the card into a structured record first. If the card duplicates one you already saved, it says so.

Find people in your cards

You do not need the name. Ask by industry, company, title, or whatever you remember.

Ask for “real estate” and Kura-chan expands the term itself — 不動産, real estate, realty, construction, housing — before searching, then separates strict real-estate firms from adjacent trades such as construction.

Kura-chan pulls up that contact and writes a draft that refers to the business described on their card.

Drafts are never sent automatically

What you get back is draft text. Creating a real draft in your mailbox and actually sending it are two further steps, each of which you have to ask for — Kura-chan keeps them separate and confirms both.

Fields extracted: store, date, amount, currency, category, payment method, line items, and the source image. Batches work here too, and duplicates are flagged.

Kura-chan searches by category and date range and returns amounts, counts, and the underlying items. If there is nothing in that range it says the total is zero and tells you when your most recent record actually is, rather than inventing a number.

Ask for ways to save

Based on these receipts, give me some concrete ways to spend less

The suggestions cite specific receipts — which one was a bulk run at a discount supermarket, which was convenience-store food, which used a coupon and saved what percentage — instead of generic advice.

Accuracy follows how much you save

Only receipts you have saved get counted. Early on the data is thin and the conclusions are rough. Once photographing receipts becomes a habit and you have a month or two, category analysis starts to mean something.

Connect a mail account in the Dashboard first, so Kura-chan can read your mail.

Summarize today

Summarize today's mail across all my mailboxes and tell me what needs my attention

Kura-chan groups by mailbox, puts anything needing action first, collects notifications at the end, and offers the next step — adding a meeting to your calendar, or drafting a reply.

Find payments and card statements

Find mail about payments, transfers, and credit card statements. List sender, date, amount, and purpose

It searches repeatedly across several keyword sets (payment, invoice, 請求書, 振込, statement, transfer). If there is genuinely nothing, it says so and offers likely reasons — such as the statements arriving at another mailbox you have not connected yet.

Review a month and map what you did

Review the past month of my mail and summarize what I've been working on

This is the biggest time saver in the mail workflows. Kura-chan lays the month out as a timeline, merges repetitive system notifications, distills a few main threads, and singles out the items that still need action.

Kura-chan tells you how many it found and where they live. Where a photo has no capture date (EXIF), it states plainly that the timestamp shown is the file modification time and is only approximate.

A paper notice, an event flyer, an appointment slip, or a time agreed in a chat — photograph it or take a screenshot and send it.

Confirm before it writes

Kura-chan reads the date, time, and place back to you. Check them before letting it write to your calendar. A blurry photo, poor light, or small print can produce the wrong reading. Once it looks right, say “yes, add it.”

Add an event by voice

On LINE, a voice message works as-is.

(voice) I've got a dentist appointment next Wednesday at 3pm — put it in my calendar. It's Sakura Dental by the station.

The voice message is transcribed before it reaches Kura-chan. After reading the date, time, and place, it confirms which calendar to use and how long to book before creating the event.

Kura-chan merges the built-in calendar with any connected external calendars into one timeline. If it spots near-identical duplicate events, it asks whether you want them cleaned up.

Files and knowledge

Store a file from chat

Send a file and Kura-chan reads it, summarizes it, and asks what you want done with it — archive it into Memory Kura, put its deadlines in your calendar, or draft a mail to share it.

It turns the file into an article, creates a new topic when needed, and keeps the original file as the source.

It retrieves the content from your knowledge base and pulls out the part you wanted — what was decided, who owns it, and by when — not just a filename.

The relationship graph

Everything in Memory Kura is linked by topic. In the Dashboard, Memory Kura → Articles shows that as a graph: nodes are articles, lines are relationships, and articles with no connections are marked as standalone. You can also just ask Kura-chan what is in the knowledge base and how it connects.

Mix your inputs and outputs

You do not need to format your request. Kura-chan accepts text, images, files, audio, and video, and acts on whatever you ask for.
