Build your knowledge base

The knowledge base — Memory Kura — reads your documents and turns them into cross-linked articles you can browse, search, and ask about. It works on documents, not photos.

  • The knowledge base is a Pro feature.
  • Your documents must be reachable by Kura-chan — your Documents folder or files uploaded to Kura-chan’s Agent Drive.
  1. Open Knowledge in the sidebar.

  2. Pick the documents to archive (use Select all pending to grab everything new at once), then click Archive selected. Kura-chan processes each document into linked articles.

  3. Track progress in the jobs banner. When it’s done, click Browse Memory Kura to read the results.

Each archived document becomes an article grouped by Topic, with Related articles cross-linked and the original Sources listed so you can trace any claim back to its document.

  • “No articles yet.” Nothing has been archived. Select some documents and choose Archive selected.
  • A document didn’t show up. Make sure it’s somewhere Kura-chan can read — your Documents folder or uploaded to Agent Drive — then archive it again.
  • My photos aren’t here. The knowledge base is separate from the photo AI index — it indexes documents, not photos.
